IEUM SAI uses 3D LiDAR to anonymously monitor pedestrian activity in crowded public spaces. It accurately measures visitor counts, crowd density, dwell time, and movement patterns in real time without collecting personal information.
When crowd density exceeds predefined thresholds, the system automatically alerts operators to help prevent safety incidents. Historical movement data also supports local governments and business associations in developing data-driven commercial revitalization strategies.
